SOLD OUT - The Higher State - You Might Find Out b/w Come Winter Rain
Record/Vinyl + Digital Album
The Higher State return to 2021 with a brand new 45rpm single.
You Might Find Out b/w Come Winter Rain features two tracks which could easily have been released at the tail end of 1965 or early 66, at the height of the British Invasion in America.
The lead track, 'You Might Find Out' is an exquisite hit of the well-loved fuzz and farfisa sound of which the Higher State does so impeccably.
The flip 'Come Winter Rain' tones down the attack of the a-side with gentle and highly melodic layers of jangle guitar and Lennon and McCartney styled melodies.
The 45 is released on Greek based garage label Lost In Tyme and is limited to 300 copies pressed on standard black virgin wax and housed in a pic-sleeve with an insert designed by Marty of the group.

Just perfect. Messis absolutely nails that late 1965/early 1966 folk-rock sound with a nice dose of fuzz thrown into the mix to give it sizzle. Reference: The Leaves' version of Hey Joe. CTHankster
